Clean Cuisine is a highly nutritious way of eating the entire family can safely follow together.
What is the Clean Cuisine Website?
Our goal with the Clean Cuisine website is to give you a snapshot into our lifestyle and show you how we make living clean work for our family. The detailed science of our nutrition recommendations is explained and referenced in our Clean Cuisine book (Penguin, 2013), but on the website we strive to show you the practicalities of how we live Clean Cuisine on a day to day basis. We strive to provide you with the online tools you need to shop, prepare, and eat the cleanest and very best food on the planet—food that is every bit as delicious as it is nutritious. As the name “cuisine” implies, we take the flavor of our food very seriously.
We incorporate fitness and overall wellness information on the website as an integral component to living an anti-inflammatory lifestyle.
Who are Ivy and Dr. Andy Larson, M.D.?
Ivy and Andy are a husband and wife team who have spent a combined 30 years researching, lecturing, and writing five books on the subjects of nutrition, health and wellness. Their interest in these topics was sparked by Ivy’s diagnosis with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 1998 at the age of twenty-two while Andy was in medical school and shortly after Ivy received her American College of Sports Medicine Health Fitness Specialist certification. Since then, their physician/ patient/ food/ nutrition and fitness backgrounds have played a tremendous role in every endeavor they take on. Read their full story here.
