Do you have videos on all your 4 different workouts as covered in the clean cuisine book? Maybe it will help me with pacing. The only real place I struggle are the balance type exercises, aside from those i'm not in bad shape... so i'm not sure why it takes me usually 50-60 minutes to do the workouts as suggested so i'm wondering how important sticking to 30 minutes is vs getting all the sets in.

Hi David, Oh I think you might have been the reader who my husband was telling me about---I think he tried to answer you a few times over email but since he didn't design the workout he probably didn't explain it right. He said he forwarded your email to me to answer but I never got it? Anyway, I'm glad you found me this way =) The workouts should definitely NOT take 50-60 minutes, so what I suggest is that you run through each routine once (without worrying about repeating exercises) and see how long that takes you---but don't rest between exercises, just go straight through. Be sure to use heavy enough weights so that your muscles are definitely burning for the last few reps. Doing multiple sets is really not NEARLY as important as doing one really GOOD set where you work your muscles to exhaustion. Quality trumps quantity when it comes to exercise. After doing the actual workout (not including warm up) for 30 minutes I would just call it a day. That should be plenty of exercise if you are pushing yourself with each individual exercise. I don't have videos of the actual workouts BUT I was planning on starting to do YouTube workouts again in the New Year so I will put it on my "to do" list to do the workouts from the book. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any other questions! Happy Holidays =) --ivy
